Aston Martin Asia Cup Round 3 & 4
at Sepang International Circuit June 5th & 6th.

I competed in the Aston Martin Asia cup round 3 & round 4. I couldn't do the test sessions as I had a problem with the brakes but the mechanics fixed the car before the qualifying and I took pole position. Mark Wiiliamson of Australia was 2nd fastest and Melvin Choo of Singapore was 3rd fastest.

Round 3
I got a good start and pulled away from every one and after while I knew there was no challenge so I slowed down a bit and won the race. Tunku Hammam of Malaysia finished 2nd and Melvin Choo finished 3rd.

Round 4.
Once again I got a good start and pulled away but didn't slow down too much as I wanted to know by the end of the race the gap I could have with the first runner up. I won the race and had a 15 second gap with Melvin Choo who finished 2nd and Jean Marc Merlin of France finished 3rd.

Now I am leading in the championship with a big margin and I hope to win the championship this year and bring more glory for our motherland.

I also had the Malaysia Super car series race on the same days. I had to do back to back races in the hot weather in Sepang but without cool suit I could race without any problem. As I have moved to Malaysia now I get more time to do my physical training every day. I took pole position in the Malaysian Super Car series also and won the first race but in the 2nd race my car started over heating and had to stop, now I am only 1 point behind Wira in the championship.

I think my performance is a world record taking two pole positions in the same day in 2 international events and also winning both races on the same day. I am checking with this now to see whether I could make this a record.

Once again thank you very much for every one who supports me in every way and I think I am getting stronger with the blessings from all of you.

Special thanks to my Engineer Steve Waudby the mechanics and the Sri Lanka Media and all of you.
