Aston Martin Asia Cup Round 7 and 8
Sepang F1 Circuit Malaysia August 6th and 7th.

Testing and Qualifying 6th of August

We had 2 testing and once I was fastest and then 2nd fastest.
Qualifying I was 2nd fastest and Mark took pole.
I just did 2 flying laps as I wanted to save the tires and I knew I can be faster than Mark in the race.

Round 7 7th August.

I started 2nd and was keeping up with Mark very close I was trying to get a good slip stream but as my engine was week he used to pull away from me on the straight but I was bumper to bumper in the corners.
He was very slow from turn 12 to 14 so I knew that was the best place to pass him. In lap 8 in turn 13 I got very close to him and in turn 14 I was side by side and I was in the inside and over took him he was in the out side and tried to cut in and both of us hit each other but I took away and finished the race and won Mark was 2nd and Hammam was 3rd.
I did the fastest lap and all my lap times were faster than Mark. Once again I was having problems with the brakes as usual.

After the race there was a complain for me and the Stewards who didn't have a clue about racing gave me a 10 seconds penalty and I had to start the night race behind Mark.
None of the Stewards had Motor racing experience and they were useless to talk to I was really upset as I didn’t do any thing wrong. They took away 2 points of mine.

Round 8 7th August Night.

Once again I had to start behind Mark. He got a good start but by lap 3 I over took him with out any contact. But in lap 4 in Turn 5 he hit me on the side and over took me but again in lap 5 I over took him in turn 14 where he was slow and I was inside but he turn hit me and spun himself.
I was loosing my brakes but as I had a good lead with Hammam and Weng I took it easy and finish 1st Hammam was 2nd and Weng was 3rd Mark was 5th. After the race again the Stewards called me and this time they said my driving was dangerous.
I have driven from one make to Formula 3000, GT300, GT500, Daytona 24 Hours Bathurst 24 Hours so many major races with the worlds top class drivers and never had a problem and these stewards disqualified me from the race by taking all my points which was 10 for winning and the 1 point for my fastest lap.
I argued with them and they were so stupid and arrogant. I made an appeal to the AAM of Malaysia but it was turned down.
These 2 races took 13 points of mine.
These stewards doesn't know and understand how hard and difficult and amount of effort we put into racing and because of their inexperience and arrogance they just did this to me but I will never give up until fairness is done. This is what happens in most of the sports some stupid decisions made by the so called officials can ruin some ones future.
But in common all the people related to Motor sports in Malaysia including the officials of Sepang circuit is so good friendly and supportive.
I love racing in Malaysia and hope fully AAM will appoint better stewards for 2010 who has raced before and has racing experience.
