Malaysia Super Car Series Round 1
16th and 17th May Sepang F1 Circuit Malaysia.

I competed in the round 1 of Malaysia Super car series. This year it is getting tough again as Weng and other drivers have brought in much faster new cars to compete with me. There are 2 new Cup S cars a Marcos and Wiras fast Radical. I had few problems with the diff and was unable to drive 100%. With all that I was able to qualify 2nd behind Weng and Wira was 3rd. We had 2 races and in race 1 I tried to keep up with Weng but it was impossible as I couldn't keep up with him on the straight his car was too fast. Weng finished 1st me 2nd and Wira 3rd. In race 2 it was the same Weng finished 1st me 2nd and Wira 3rd. Wira usually get very close to me but this time he wasn't able to be close to me and there was a gap of almost 30 seconds. We lapped all the cars except Wira.

Now I need a little bit more of engine power which I am working on and hope fully will be able to do it before the next race which will be on the 6th of June. Next week I will be competing in the Asian GT3. I am happy to bring another victory for Sri Lanka but still finding it hard to find sponsors I have spread the news around the world asking any Sri Lankan to help me hope some one helps me in the near future I am very confident in winning at least 2 championships for Sri Lanka this year.
