GT Asia Championship 2011.

I finished 2nd in the GT Asia Championship this year. I really wanted to defend the title but there were many obstacles. Every one had faster cars than me and I had carry more weight after winning few rounds. As I am running with a very low budget I didn't have enough funds to rebuid the engine and upgrade to the 2011 specs. In round 9 in Autopolis Japan I was disqualified although I won the race. I didn't want to challenge the decision as I have had enough of it. But end of the day I have to be Happy with the results finishing 2nd in the Championship.

I really want to thank my sponsors Ray Ax, Sata, Bufori and FMI from Malaysia, Chronoforce of Hong Kong, TAiyo from Japan and one and only Browns Group from Sri Lanka. I will need to buy a new car for next year and I hope I will have more sponsors from Sri Lankan as the coverage is over 135 million vievers from all over the world with the big TV coverage we get.

I want to thank my crew who have done a great job this year and to all my supporters and friends and special thank to all the Media personals of Sri Lanka who has given me the most support from day one.

Will win the championship once again next year please help me to do it.
