Malaysian GT Championship 2011.

The last 2 races of the round 5 of Malaysian GT was held at Sepang Circuit on the 27th of November. I finished 3rd in both races and won the Championship for the 3rd time for Sri Lanka and for all my supporters.

The beggining of the season was very good as I won 5 races then missed the round 4. The round 5 my Lamborghini was in Macau so I had no option but to use my Porsche Cup car to win the Championship. It worked and we are Champions again. It is not only my victory but for all of you.

It was another great year Malaysia GT Champion and 2nd in GT Asia. With the small budget I run against all the big teams my crew has done a great Job. We did 19 races 15 podiums, 7 Wins, 5 first runner up and 2 second runner up. I have never been able to do this without the support of all of you. I must thank my crew, Sponosor Ray Ax, Sata, Chrono Force,Bufori, Taiyo, Ihara Dojo,FME, Steam Pro and one and only Company from Sri Lanka Browns Group, All the Media around the world giving me the best coverage and my loving Family, friends and the best supporters and the fans in the world whom I have. I must also thank the Chairman, CEO and all the staff at Sepang Circuit who gives me so much courage and support although me being a Sri Lankan. Most of my sponsors are from Malaysia, Japan and Hong Kong and they do so much for me although I give the best publicity for Sri Lanka.

From the Government of Sri Lanka I want to thank Hon. Dullas Alahapperuma, Hon. J.B. Tennakoon and Mr. Yoshitha Rajapakse son of His Excellency the President for giving me courage and support and advice all the time. I have been winning many Championships for Sri Lankan without any Financial support from Sri Lanka. I don't complain as I think every one of us must do the best for the country which I am doing for the past 20 years. I have been on podium over 100 international races most of them are wins and I think it is a Asian record and only few in the world have achieved it. I don't know whether any Sri Lankan have ever achieved it in any sport.

I hope I can win both titles GT Asia and Malaysian GT and few Endurance races in Europe which I am hoping to do next year. I need to buy a new car for GT Asia next year and I hope all of you can support me to find few sponsors and mainly from Sri Lanka as Sri Lanka gets the most publicity with the huge TV coverage of 110 countries and 135 million viewers.

I am getting older but getting faster and stronger and I realised that humans have great ability to do many things if you can focus your self which I am doing and a little bit of meditation to understand your capabilities.
