PICCA Round 6 &7 In Beijing July 17th

The official testing was good as I was getting faster and faster in every session. But in the qualifying we used new tires and I couldn’t handle car as it was under steering too much and I qualified 12th. So we decided in the future to use the new tires before qualifying to see whether the set up is ok.

Round 6

I started 12th on the grid but was able to finish 9th. I was trying pass Alan for few laps but at last I was able to pass him but I had few bumps with him. After that I caught up with Simon and was about to pass him in the last lap but he held me up.

Round 7.

I started 9th. Just before the start it started raining and the race was stopped and we had to run with wet tires. But my crew made a mistake by softening the rear roll bar and adding too much wing on the rear wing. The first few laps was ok as it was raining but after few laps the rain stopped and the car was under steering and I had to slow down

But finished 10th. Although I finished both races and earned 18 points I was not really happy with the results. But the next race is on the 7th of August in Korea and I will do my best to get better results.
