PICCA  ROUND  8 & 9 TAEBAEK  KOREA.

I qualified 8th. During the test sessions we got a good set up for the car.
Peter Allnut who was my engineer while I was doing F3 and Formula Nippon is helping me out he was at Beijingand this time in Taebaek. Porsche is new to him but I feel very comfortable as he knows about my driving style. He will be helping for the rest of the season and also for next year.

Round 8

I got a good start and was able to take Alain but before the first turn he crept from the inside. Both of us had a good battle until on the 5th lap I over took him on the first corner but was too fast I ended up on the gravel but was lucky to come back and finished 8th.

Round 9

It started raining and the first few laps we ran behind the Safety car as it was difficult to see. When the race started I couldn't see any thing in the front so had to go slower and after about 2 laps the wiper stopped working. But then the rain was not so hard and I got very good laps and was about 1.5 seconds faster than Alain who was far ahead of me

And on the last lap I was only 0.5 seconds behind. Ended up 8th.

It was not a bad week end but not too good. We are heading for the next race in Shanghaihope we can do better.
