Malaysia Super Car Round 3 June 24th & 25th.

This race was the support race for Japan GT so we used the full track. I qaulified 2nd behind Peter. The first race was on the 24th which was my birth day and I won the race which was my best birthday present. I think I am so lucky to win on my birthday and I think only a very few people in the world has done this. Peter was leading the race and I was getting close to him when he went off the track. I had a big gap for Chong who was second. As there was no competition I cooled down.

The 2nd race Chong got in front of me as I was using old tires and he was using the new ones where he had an advantage but I knew I could overtake him within 2 laps. On the second lap last corner I over took him. But after 2 laps I saw the penalty sign for me where I had to go through the pit lane. I didn’t know why I was penalized. But I was able to finish 2nd. I got 35 points and Chong also got 35 points but he was announced the winner and I was 2nd. The penalty had been because I overtook Chong during a Yellow flag which I didn’t see because I was inside trying to overtake him. Any way we had a good week end and my best birthday present.

Now I am leading in the championship with 95 and Peter 82 and Chong 65. Unfortunately I will miss the next round which will be on th 23rd of this month as we have the PCCA on the same day in Indonesia. But as there are 2 more races I am sure I can still win the championship.
