We built the first Sri Lankan racing track. Hoping to commence races from May. This is a very good technical racing track. We will have a professional racing school where many Asians could learn racing driving & riding for a affordable price. I did most of the technical part of the circuit. The length is about 2km. But planning to extend it to about 2.6km. I had a hard time when I started racing internationally because I did not have the experience comparing to other racing drivers or riders because we did not have a racing track in Sri Lanka. It was my dream to build a racing track to help young drivers & riders become professionals while in Sri Lanka. Few of my friends helped financially to build this circuit. Without them I would not been able to do it. We formed a company "SPEED DEVELOPMENT LANKA PVT LTD" to promote motor sports in Sri Lanka. The name of the track is "PANNALA INTERNATIONAL CIRCUIT".

Will be racing at Daytona for the ROLEX 24 HOURS on the 2nd and 3rd of February. Will be driving my favorite car MT900R. The team is BOSTON MOTOR SPORTS GROUP. The Other drivers are SCOTT DEWARE (USA) , MARTIN SHORT & CHARES LAMB from UK. Hoping to do a good race this year. Will be carrying the Sri Lanka flag on the car.

2002 will be competing in the Japanese GT Championship under Team Sri Lanka. I will be getting a brand new MT900R in March. I will be driving with JOAO BARBOSA from Portugal. Hope to win many races this year. We have a very good team director this year "MASAMI KUWASHIMA" one of the fastest Japanese drivers in the 70's .
